How to Add Ranking Questions in Google Forms

1. Create a new question in Google Forms and change its type to Multiple Choice Grid.
2. Add the question in the text editor with an image and description, if required.
3. Add ordinal numbers (starting from 1st) in the Rows.
4. Enter the options/choices in Columns.
5. Toggle on Require a response in each row, so respondents have to choose all the required preferences.

6. Click on the More icon and select Limit to one response per column. By doing so, respondents won’t be able to choose the same option more than once.
7. To preview the form, click on the Eye icon on the top right corner.

Although you can add options in rows and ordinals in columns, it might become difficult for you to view and analyze the responses.
