The Amazon Alexa voice assistant is able to listen to all your verbal questions and give you direct answers in real-time. As soothing as that voice may be, you can substitute three different well-known celebrities to replace your default Alexa voice.

Before You Get Started
Right now there are only three different celebrity voices available on Alexa: Samuel L. Jackson, Melissa McCarthy, and Shaquille O'Neal. Each one costs $4.99 when making it your new Alexa voice.
You won't be able to use your new celebrity voices for any query you ask Alexa. Only specific answers have been programmed with celebrity voices and you'll need to ask your device what the new voices can do to learn their capabilities.
Change Alexa's Voice Using Your Device
To start, all you have to do is say “Alexa, introduce me to [celebrity name]” and your device will switch over to the celebrity of your choice. It won't permanently switch over until you confirm the purchase of your new celebrity voice. The amount will be charged to the card you have on file for your Amazon account.
Now that your device has a new personality you'll need to call it by its new name when asking questions. You can still use the “Alexa” wake word if you want to use the default voice on your device. You'll still hear the default Alexa voice if the question you asked doesn't have a programmed answer from the celebrity.
Normally, the default Alexa voice refrains from using any expletives or culturally bad words. But your new voice assistant doesn’t have those restraints. You’ll have to decide whether or not you want clean language or explicit language when selecting your celeb voice.
Using a Celebrity Voice for Alexa
You can change your default Alexa voice to three different celebrities including Shaquille O’Neal, Melissa McCarthy, and Samuel L. Jackson. These voices won’t answer every question you have for Alexa but they do liven up the experience.
